The RT2510 shear valve is installed in the LPG supply line, normally beneath the dispenser. If impact, fire or accidental equipment movement causes separation, the valve closes the circuit to limit product loss.
The mechanism operates in both flow directions and separates at 450–500 N. After activation, reuse of the valve bodies requires inspection and replacement of the break element by a qualified technician.
