The SAMPI RVP25 is a self-priming rotary vane pump originally designed for transferring fuels, light petroleum products and other compatible liquids.
The pump consists of a rotor turning inside a cam that is eccentrically machined in relation to the rotor. As the rotor turns, the sliding vanes move in and out, displacing the liquid towards the outlet.
The vanes are manufactured from advanced polymers with extremely low friction coefficients. Their self-adjusting design compensates for wear, helping to maintain performance and extend the service life of the pump.
An integral by-pass valve protects the pump and system against overpressure. Due to its efficient design, the RVP25 can handle volatile liquids and requires less power than other equivalent pumps.
The pump is available in two configurations. The R version features clockwise rotation and a right-hand suction inlet, while the L version features counter-clockwise rotation and a left-hand suction inlet.
